イベント詳細	発表者：Prof. Simon R. Poulson (Dept. Geological Sci., Univ. Nevada-Reno) 教育の質向上支援プログラム(EEP)で来学しているPoulson教授に安定同位体を用いた食性・生態学に関する講演をしていただきます。Poulson教授は米国ネバダ大学リノ校で、環境地球化学、水溶液化学などの講義の他に、安定同位体研究施設ディレクターとして、地質学、地球化学、生態学、考古学などの様々な分野において、安定同位体を用いた研究を展開しています。今回、理学部のどなたにでもわかりやすい話をお願いしましたので、多数のご参加をお待ちしています。 What do you eat? Stable isotopes of carbon and nitrogen can be used to study diet, and diet networks (food webs). This talk will　discuss ancient human diet revealed using dental calculus, and the dietaryecology of birds (sage grouse) using stable isotopes, and illustrates how　research can lead in some unexpected but interesting directions!
