| イベント詳細 | 御手洗 菜美子 (Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen) Based on about 5-years experience in the Niels Bohr Institute (NBI), Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, I present the graduate school education system in Denmark, focusing on the pros and cons in comparison with the Japanese (especially Department of Physics, Kyushu University) graduate school education. NBI offers the physics educations, and the educations are divided into three-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes, two-year Master of Science (MSc) programmes and three-year research programmes (PhD). The difference between the NBI system and the Japanese system is the largest in MSc, which is full two-years, 120 ECTS program where 1 ECTS point should correspond to 25-30 hours work. Students can choose the weight of the thesis work loads (can be 30 ECTS, 40 ECTS, or 60ECTS), and the rest of the points needs to be fulfilled by taking courses. This indicates that students find their master thesis supervisor typically after they have completed the course work, in contrast to the Japanese system where students join a research group at the beginning of their master education. 講師のプレゼンテーションの後、 ディスカッションの時間をとります。 |
