イベント詳細 | 講演者:桂木 洋光(名古屋大学環境科学研究科) 要旨:Catastrophic landsliding (including snow avalanche and volcanic lahar) can be induced by seismicity, volcanic eruption, and/or bomb's impact. Such landsliding phenomena result in the relaxation of slope terrain. This type of terrain relaxation is actually ubiquitous not only on the earth but also on general rocky planetary surfaces. For example, a meteor impact results in both the creation of new crater and the relaxation of preexistent craters. To properly estimate the degree of slope relaxation by impact or vibration, we have to understand the fundamental features of granular slope relaxation. At the beginning of this talk, a brief introduction of the granular heap flow will be given. Then, our experimental studies [1,2] on this topic will be introduced. In these studies, the relaxation of granular slope triggered by impact or vibration was systematically investigated. If time permits, other recent topics relating to crab burrows [3] and dust collision [4] will be briefly introduced as well. These studies were also motivated by planetary-related phenomena. [1] D.
